Counselling and Psychotherapy
Therapy for adults in-person in Leeds City Centre, online and by phone

Welcome to my counselling and psychotherapy service
Are you struggling with anxiety, stress, anger or low self-esteem? Are you feeling empty, depressed, or lost? Are you having difficulties in your relationship, at work, after a break up or after a bereavement? Are you dealing with one of the many other issues listed here?
You do not have to face your problems alone, I am here to help. Through therapy with me you can feel supported, gain a greater understanding of your difficulties and yourself, get new perspectives and work out new ways forward.

How do I work?

I am an integrative therapist, which means that I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, goals and preferences, rather than rely on only one method.

That means that your sessions can be a space for you to talk through your thoughts about your difficulties or work through your feelings at a pace that suits you.
They could involve exploring your experiences to identify patterns and what is outside of your awareness, or include me asking thought-provoking questions and offering a new perspective.
We could also discuss coping strategies or work out how you could deal with situations differently.

The types of the therapy that I incorporate into how I work include person-centred, psychodynamic, existential, solution-focused and cognitive behavioural therapies. The core uniting theme of my approach is the importance of us forming an effective therapeutic relationship that helps you.

Where do we begin?

I believe it is important that you find a therapist that you feel comfortable talking to, so I offer an introductory session for a reduced price of £30 where you can get a feel for how it is to speak to me. In that session we can also discuss what has led to you seeking therapy, what you would like to get from sessions and how we can go forward together.
After the first appointment, individual sessions cost £55.

All sessions last 50 minutes.

If you would like to book an introductory session or have any questions, please get in touch.

Before becoming a therapist, I taught English as a foreign language in Italy, and I worked in office roles in health and higher education. In 2019 I went to Sierra Leone to teach Maths and English to local children.
