Welcome to my counselling service
Are you feeling anxious, stressed, low on confidence, empty, numb or dissatisfied with life? Are you struggling in a relationship or after a bereavement? Do you feel that the same situation keeps happening over and over?
I offer a welcoming and safe space where you can talk about your thoughts, feelings and and problems without judgement, which can help you to grow and change.
Also, we can explore your difficulties together so that you develop greater awareness and understanding, and as a result have more flexibility in your decisions and feel empowered to make new choices.
The most important part of counselling and psychotherapy is our relationship, so I will also blend in my knowledge of different types of therapy, training and experience, and adapt my approach to meet your specific needs and goals where possible, such as by discussing coping techniques.
My main influences are person-centred, existential and psychodynamic therapy but I can also draw on ideas from other forms of therapy such as cognitive behavioural therapy. Uniting all of the therapies in my approach is the core idea that how we think, feel and behave is shaped by our relationships past and present, and that the therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst for change.
I provide in-person, online and phone sessions to individuals aged 18 and over who live in the UK.
I offer an introductory session for £30.
After that, individual sessions cost £50.
Block bookings of 6 sessions cost a discounted price of £270.
All sessions last 50 minutes.
I work with clients with a range of issues including:
Feeling numb, empty or dissatisfied with life
Childhood trauma and abuse
