Welcome to my counselling service

Hi, I’m Will, a welcoming counsellor and psychotherapist based in Leeds City Centre offering in-person, online and phone sessions to adults.

You may be struggling with anxiety, stress, or anger. You may be feeling numb, low, or lost. You might be having difficulties in your relationship, at work, after a bereavement or in other aspects of your life. You could also be noticing a pattern which keeps repeating that you want to change.

As you are unique, I believe your counselling should be too, and I will tailor my approach to you. That might mean that our sessions are a space for you to talk through your thoughts about your issues or work through your feelings at a pace that suits you. They might involve me offering a new perspective, thought-provoking questions, or agreeing tasks for you to do between appointments. They could focus on exploring your experiences to find what is outside of your awareness or working out ways for you to deal with situations differently. I will not tell you what to do, but I will help you come to your own decisions.

I am an integrative therapist, which means that I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs and goals, rather than rely on only one method. I am here to help you find your way to the life that you want to lead.

Where do we begin?

I believe it is important that you find a counsellor that you feel comfortable talking to, so I offer an introductory session for a reduced price of £30 where you can get a feel for how it is to speak to me, and we can discuss how we might go forward together.

After the first appointment, individual sessions would cost £55, or you can make block bookings of 6 sessions for a discounted price of £300.

Weekly and fortnightly sessions are available.

What is my life experience?

Before becoming a therapist, I taught English as a foreign language in Italy, and I worked in office roles in health and higher education.

In 2019 I went to Sierra Leone for two weeks to teach Maths and English to local children. In my spare time I like being in nature and taking walks in the Yorkshire countryside.

I have benefitted from counselling myself while facing personal challenges and I know it can help you too.
